John J. Jackson III has been admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey since 1986, and certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey since 1998. Mr. Jackson’s extensive litigation experience began while serving as an Assistant Prosecutor in Ocean County (1988-1992) and while serving as defense counsel for a major national insurance company. Mr. Jackson’s litigation experience encompasses commercial, real estate related, and personal injury matters.

Mr. Jackson also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to land use and related real estate transactions. JJJ Law Firm is equally comfortable representing a national developer on a large-scale development application as well as homeowner improvements that require board approvals. Mr. Jackson leverages his extensive knowledge to navigate the complexities of the Municipal Land Use Law and excels in developing comprehensive strategies that enable clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their land development objectives efficiently. John has the benefit of the perspective that comes from representing municipal land use boards as board attorney. John currently represents the Lakewood Township Planning Board for the last 20 years and has served as counsel to boards in Wall Township (Planning Board 2015-2020) Point Pleasant (Zoning Board 2009-2017), Point Pleasant Beach (Planning Board 1999-2017). Mr. Jackson also served as the Municipal Public Defender for the Township of Brick ( 2005-2015).
